Choosing Your Screen Material
Consider you ambient lighting conditions
If you have a dedicated cinema room environment where you have complete control over your lighting conditions, then ProWhite is the best choice for you. With little to no light in your room, your white levels will be truly white, and your black levels will be truly black, and all colours will be able to be vibrant and saturated.
When you have less control over your ambient lighting conditions, then ProGray is the best choice to achieve a contrasted image and avoid that ‘washed-out’ look. To understand how this works, remember that the black levels in your image are simply the absence of any light so ambient will wash out black levels. As a result, the darker shade of ProGray helps to pull down the perceived darkness of your black levels, improving the overall contrast.

PROTIP: Whichever screen material your choose, please calibrate with your projector model to ensure you achieve your desired picture brightness, contrast, saturation, tint, etc.
